What is EasyScanPro?
EasyScanPro turns paper documents into small, clear PDFs you can email straight from your phone. It uses your phone's native document scanner, then re-compresses the pages so the final file is a fraction of the size iOS Notes or the Files app would produce — typically small enough to attach to any email without warnings about attachment limits.
Nothing is uploaded to a server. Your scans live on your device until you share them.
How to scan a document
- Open EasyScanPro and sign in.
- Tap Scan on the dashboard.
- Point your camera at the page. Your phone will auto-detect the edges and capture.
- Repeat for each page you want in the PDF.
- Tap Done to review the pages.
- Reorder or delete any page you don't want, then tap Continue.
Tip: for the smallest file size, scan on a plain, well-lit surface. Shadows and clutter around the page force the compressor to keep more detail.
How to email or share your PDF
- On the Export screen, pick your target size (5, 10, 15 or 20 MB).
- Tap Email PDF to open your mail app with the file attached, or
- Tap Share to send via Messages, WhatsApp, AirDrop, Files or any other app on your phone.
- If sharing isn't available in your browser, the PDF will open in a new tab so you can save or forward it manually.
Add EasyScanPro to your home screen
Adding EasyScanPro to your home screen makes it launch full-screen like a normal app, with its own icon. It's free and takes about ten seconds.
On iPhone (Safari)
- Open easyscanpro.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
On Android (Chrome)
- Open easyscanpro.com in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu.
- Tap Add to Home screen, then Install.
Free vs Pro
Free: up to 5 pages per PDF. Perfect for occasional scanning.
Pro (£2.99/mo or £24.99/yr): up to 40 pages per PDF, priority support, and future Pro features as we ship them.
Manage your subscription
Go to Account from the top-right menu. From there you can view your plan, upgrade or downgrade, update your payment method or cancel at any time.
All billing is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. That's why your receipts come from Paddle and any refund requests go through them.
Your privacy
Scans are processed on your device and never uploaded to our servers. The only data we store is your account details and subscription status — enough to sign you in and keep your Pro plan working across devices.
See our Privacy Notice for the full picture.
Troubleshooting
The Scan button doesn't open the camera
Your browser is blocking camera access. On iPhone, make sure you're using Safari (not an in-app browser) and check Settings → Safari → Camera is set to Allow.
Email opened but the PDF wasn't attached
Some mail apps can't accept attachments from the browser. Use Share instead and pick your mail app from the share sheet, or save the PDF to Files first and attach it manually.
My scan is still too big
Try a smaller target size on the Export screen, or switch the scan to greyscale or black & white before exporting. Very detailed colour photos are the hardest to compress.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and we'll email you a reset link.
Contact support
Email support@easyscanpro.com with as much detail as you can (device, browser, what you tried) and we'll get back to you.
