1. About us

EasyScanPro.com is a trading style of Lawton Tech Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16711089). When you use EasyScanPro, you are contracting with Lawton Tech Ltd. Our registered office address is available on request.

2. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing or using EasyScanPro, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the app. If you use EasyScanPro on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. What EasyScanPro provides

EasyScanPro is a mobile-first document scanning app that lets you capture multiple pages, combine them into a single PDF, compress the file, and export it via your device's share sheet, email or file storage. Documents are processed locally on your device unless you choose to export them yourself.

4. Acceptable use

You must use EasyScanPro lawfully and fairly. You must not:

• use the app for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purposes;
• infringe anyone else's intellectual property or other rights;
• attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, probe, or interfere with the app's security or performance;
• upload, scan, or distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful material;
• use the app to send spam or unsolicited communications.

5. Intellectual property

Lawton Tech Ltd owns all intellectual property rights in EasyScanPro, including its software, design, branding, and documentation. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with your chosen plan. You retain ownership of any documents you scan using the app.

6. Subscriptions, payments and billing

EasyScanPro offers a free plan with limited page usage and a Pro plan with expanded limits. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our online reseller, Paddle.com. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's checkout terms and our pricing.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or Paddle's customer portal. Payments, billing, tax, subscription management, and refunds are handled by Paddle as our Merchant of Record. Please refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms for details of payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics.

7. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

8. Service level

We aim to keep EasyScanPro available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, or remove features from time to time. We are not responsible for issues caused by your device, network, or third-party services you choose to share documents to.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to EasyScanPro if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or create a security or fraud risk. You may stop using the app at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the app ends, but any documents you have already exported remain yours.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lawton Tech Ltd excludes all implied warranties and limits its liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of EasyScanPro. This does not affect liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, death, or personal injury.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. If you continue to use EasyScanPro after changes are made, you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
